An Inquiry

Dear Mr. Phelps,

I know you have been quite busy this last little while. But, I was wondering if you might be able to spare a moment to look at my son. He has a mild interest in swimming.

I have sent these pictures for your review. Could you please comment on his form and physique and any other pertinent skills, perhaps the rings, his ability to pull faces under water, or anything else you see that might contribute to him being a swimming champion? I am just wondering if we should shoot for the Olympics in 2012? Let me know your thoughts.

Yours, very truly, forever and ever.

Erin M.

P.S. You had me jumping on the couch at midnight giving high-fives. A little too Tom Cuise-ish for my liking, but so fun to watch!

ok, cutest post ever! What great photos of brooksie. I think , if Mr. PHelps has any personality at all, tha t is he will definitely see some great potential with dear Brooks.

Love the pictures. Love even more that Brooks will go under the water like that. Kadyn loves to swim, but going under the water is just too much for her still. Cute idea to write Phelps. He's definitely the man to go to in this area! Glad to hear I wasn't the only one jumping up and down at midnight! :)

Okay, Erin....so I am now officially a blog stalker...how embarrassing!! But I just had to comment to say Hello and to tell you how cute your little one is!! I found your blog through my little brother Spencer's blog from Mike and Paige. Does that make me sound pathetic or what?!!...3 months ago I swore I'd never have a blog, now I have one and I'm stalking High School friends! Ha, Ha! Anyway, just wanted to say hello. You look great! I hope all is well. I have a few others from School linked on my blog if you want to check them out!! You're welcome any time! burkehappy5.blogspot.com

Take care! It was great to see your cute family. I hope you don't mind me popping in. I always thought so highly of you in school! And your every bit as cute now!

Sincerely,
Sarah (Randle) Burke

You got him to do that? Amazing! He is on his way to winning a gold. I think he is too cute, and obviously very brave. :D

That is REALLY darling. I can't believe you have such great photos of your boy........he is definitely a child prodigy. Too brave for my comfort level, but surely a fish in boy's clothing! I love it!

I should clarify. i didn't take the photos, my camera isn't that cool.

macy, why the harsh words about Mr. Phelps? I think I saw him make a comment, once, that brought on a chuckle of sorts.

I am no Mr. Phelps but I do have an eye for budding new stars and Brooks just has it.

WOW!!! I can't believe he is only 2! That is super impressive, no one in my family was quite that advanced at age 2. I am surprised he will go under alone, not much fear... That's awesome! Swim team next summer for sure...
