My Buddy

"Hey Mom, all mom's have a buddy, I'll be your buddy. OK?"

I am loving my little buddy. These past winter months would have been so sad without him. I love him dearly and indulge him too much, but it's hard not to with such a great little guy. He is curious and chatty and happy and now he is four and he is pretty proud of that. I am sad with how quickly the time flies, but I am in love with every day he grows.

This post would have a different tone had you written it yesterday. Likely title: "My Nemesis." What a difference a day makes.

He is such a handsome little sucker! I agree with your sentiments completely. I love Bryan's comment. That is so true, too. The highest highs and the lowest lows equal motherhood!

I should have included that good days and the all too often, bad days. I don't like blogs to sound superficial...sorry. we definitely have our fair share of bads.

Yeah! Great to see a post!!! Is Brooks standing by the basket Sam broke? and the glass table he almost shattered? Sorry about that, I still owe you some ornaments! Brooks is so handsome and such a love. I feel like my kids are my best buddies too. It is so fun when they start really holding a great conversation with us.

What would we do without our buddies/nemesis'? They sure make life exciting and rewarding! Brooks is super cute!

I am sad we missed getting together with you when you sent out the email - I need to check my email much more often so I don't miss those fun things! We would love to get together soon!

So handsome! I have a sweet (but also quite sassy) little Meg that may just need to be lined up with Brooks in another dozen years or so!
